After a short while at the lake we had caught a nice sized Mekong catfish, much to the annoyance of 2 other anglers that had been there all day without any fish, Mr suvitte really knows his stuff! we caught a few nice fish throughout the day, and lost a big one, as A carp angler in England I was tot tally shock by the power of Mekong catfish, I was having the time of my life, and Mr Suvitte felt more like a Friend than a guide, we were chatting sharing a few beers etc, and stayed longer than the time I had payed for, then suddenly my reel started spinning and all hell broke loose, it was a big one, the fish fought for ages and would not give in, it was dark by the time we landed it!

What a fantastic day I had with Mr suvitte! He really was a nice guy, I happened to mention I would like to go to a real Thai restaurant and meet a real Thai family before I left Thailand, so he said that the next day was the kings birthday and I was welcome to join his family at a res taunt they go to on special occasions, again he picked me up I met his lovely family, ate delicious food and was dropped back at my hotel,
